Slovak “flying car”, direct competitor to the better known (Terrafugia) – I am proud that even my tiny country has crazy geeks like the designer of this thing that can actually compete with with much larger (and more expensive) projects from companies elsewhere.
While this type of vehicle may not be the most practical way of getting around for the masses (it is not really a “car”, more like an airplane with folding wings that can be driven to the garage and one would still need a pilot’s license), big respects to the skill, vision and perseverance of the designer, especially knowing the horrible conditions for any sort of R&D back home, in post-communist Slovakia.
